Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. At times we run after big names (the name starting with 'B' crops up in less than a second in my head!) and then lick our wounds when they disappoint us with their high-handedness and apathy that they to try pass off as their haughtiness emanating from their "lokosruto naam/media coverage". And it is only after we learn our lessons the hard way that we start searching for those who deliver rather than just posture from an exalted pulpit. An owner-led business would always be more mindful towards your specific requirements than the behemoths who simply try to cash on what the original owner would have built through painstaking hard-work many, many years in the past. If you want food/catering that would make your guests leave with satisfied souls, then let this review prod you to consider Mr. Subir Saha of Appayan Caterers. Their beverages, their fish, their mutton, their vegetarian fare- all of them were of stellar quality and the taste of gondhorj ghol and shukto still lingers! Mr. Saha delivered what he promised and that too, at a rate that is highly competitive.

Almost all Bengali events revolve around food and thus, the selection of the right caterer can make/break/mar/elevate an occasion. As you would have gathered by now, this reviewer's occasion was elevated by what was whipped up by Appayan and thus, it is up to you now to weigh your available options and take a decision.
